Thank you to everyone who helped out with Christmas in April! Plumbing, painting, hanging cabinets, paving a walkway, doing electrical work, clean up, gardening… and most importantly showing forth the love of Christ in service… it was much appreciated by the homeowner.  Job well done all.

Theology 101 (Part 1)- a new adult education course has started and all are welcome to it!  9:45-10:45 Sunday mornings before church now through June 5 (except May 15).

The SEEDs (midweek family program) Silly Song Spring Session started last Wednesday and will continue Wednesday evenings through 5/25 anyone who wants to come check it out is welcome to come sing, dance a bit perhaps, and definitely have a good time worshipping kid-style! 

UPB's first Art and Music Camp is scheduled for July 25-29.  Registrations should be up on the website soon… so if you're interested or know someone who might be, pass the word! 

Book Club meets on Friday this week at the Barbato's house.  They're reading Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother by Amy Chua.  Go enjoy one another, good discussion and good food too!

This Sunday's scripture readings can be found here.  We'll be focusing in on the gospel reading from Luke and the story of Jesus appearing on the Road to Emmaus.  I'd invite you to read through the scriptures and pray with them to prepare yourself for Easter!  (I know I keep saying that… and it's true… the scripture lessons last week and this week are all Easter readings, even though we are a couple weeks removed from the celebration of Easter day…)
