The Journey Toward Sunday

Hi everyone, I hope things are going well for you this week.   We're scheduled to have someone from the Bowie Food Pantry come tell us about what they're up to and how they're making a difference in our local community this evening at our Lenten Dinner.  I hope you can make it!

Thank you to everyone who made Helen's family feel so welcome and cared for at last week's memorial service.  They were very appreciative.

Sunday immediately following the service there will be a congregational meeting to vote whether to allocate $40,000 from the building fund to pave the parking lot.  Thanks to everyone who made it to the discussion and info meeting last week.  If you have questions or comments, please feel free to get in touch with me or a board member.

And Saturday this week is a Spring Clean Up Day!  If you're able to lend a hand, come to the church at 9:00 for a variety of projects and tasks!

This scripture readings for this week's service can be found here.  (We'll be focusing on John's story of the Samaritan woman at the well)   Take a few minutes to and pray with the scriptures to prepare yourself for worship on Sunday!
